Blue and Chocolate Brown Damask Wedding Cake

Last week I was working on a five tier light blue fondant wedding cake with chocolate brown damask patterns to display at our Cake Fiction cakery in Union NJ.
Each tier has a different damask or scroll design, I love the elaborate finish that can be achieved, even if it is a nerve racking process to get everything aligned!
On top is a fondant monogram, with small sugar flowers.

Ivory Wedding Cake with Brush Embroidery

An ivory colored fondant wedding cake with three square tiers and decorated with floral design brush embroidery in white.

Starting by tracing a pattern onto the fondant, then with royal icing I pipe around the pattern towards the center of the design. Before this outline is dry I brush the outline with a damp paintbrush. Once it is dry I go back and pipe in veins on each of the leaves. It's a long process, requiring a steady hand, but just love the final effect.

Around the base of each tier I placed a string of small sugar pearls. The cake sits on a fondant covered cake board which has crystal feet.

French Anenome Wedding Cake

Here is the five tier wedding cake I created for the black and white themed Fundraiser at Bloomingdales in Bridgewater NJ. Each tier had a fondant lace border and is then decorated with a white French Anenome sugar flower.

I have been wanting to make this for ages, I love this flower, especially in black and white.
