Phineas and Ferb Birthday Cake

My kids love Phineas and Ferb, so I had a long line of expert advisers ready to help me correct a smile or a frown on the figurines I made for this cake: including Perry the Platypus, Isabella, Candace, Jeremy, Baljeet, Major Monogram and Dr. Doofenshmirtz. We built a roller coaster too!

Oh and the important bit! Inside are vanilla and chocolate cake tiers both have Oreo Cream filling.

A few weeks back I posted images of some new eggless cake recipes I was trying out.

Since some of you wrote to me asking for more information, I am happy to share the chocolate cake recipe with you!

Recipe Ingredients

4 1/2 cup of sifted all-purpose flour
3 cups of white sugar
1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup of vegetable oil
3 cups of water
3 teaspoons of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of vanilla extract

Preparation and Baking Directions

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, grease a 10 inch round pan and cover the base with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, soda and salt. Add the sugar and mix together.
3.Add oil, water and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
4.Pour into the prepared pan.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Enjoy!
