Cake Fiction at Bloomingdales Charity Fundraiser

Yesterday (Thursday 8/27/09) we were pleased to participate in a Fashionable Fundraiser at Bloomingdales in the Bridgewater Mall NJ.

The theme was black and white - we prepared two cakes for display (a 5-tier white wedding cake with embossed lace and French Anemones, as well as a black Marc Jacobs handbag cake). For the tasting I baked several trays of chocolate fudge cake pieces with a selection of Chocolate Ganache, Cream Cheese buttercream and French Vanilla buttercream. I'll post the picture later.
