Santa Hat Elmo with Birthday Gift Cake

What better for a two year old on his same day as Christmas birthday, than an Elmo bursting from a gift box wearing a Santa hat? Maybe if inside is perennial favorite chocolate fudge cake with Madagascar vanilla bean filling.

The white fondant gift box is tied with a green bow and decorated with Elmo's goldfish, crayons and musical notes.

For a Christmas Day party in Livingston NJ.

Poinsettia Christmas Cake

This Christmas Cake is classic example of enriched bread that has been a staple of British holiday celebrations for many centuries. The cake is filled with an assortment of dried fruits, nuts, sugar fruits, spices and marinated over 6-8 weeks with a cupful of brandy. The cake is covered with rolled white fondant and topped with three red sugar paste Poinsettia flowers.
