Topsy Turvy Sweet Sixteen Cake with Jewels

For a Sweet Sixteen celebration in Short Hills NJ we baked a three tier Topsy Turvy cake in green and white fondant encircled with an orange string bow to match the party color theme. Tiny orange flowers and leaves with stems are piped around the cake. Five gems hang from the top tier. The cake is all chocolate fudge with mint buttercream filling.

Summertime Cake with Flip Flops and Seashells

For a bridal shower in Madison NJ the family requested a summertime cake based on the brides' interests, including a seashell collection and her favorite flip flops. The lower tier was a chocolate fudge cake with mint cream filling, while the top tier was vanilla cake with a passion fruit buttercream.
