Our bride told us her husband to be was fan of all things sneakers and wanted a Grooms cake to reflect that! Apparently his favorite pair are the Adidas Superstar 86 "Uprock", which has a complex graffiti design. A lot of careful hand painting required to replicate the "Uprock" design, but I'm pleased to say I did it, and of course even the shoelaces are edible!
The black Adidas shoe box is made with chocolate fudge cake with Madagascar vanilla bean filling, while the sneaker is yellow vanilla cake with raspberry cream filling.
This was the cake my now wife and mother had made for my engagement party. Did not have good pictures of it. So glad to see it once again. Hope your still doing wonderful work like this
