We were asked to design a three tier flamenco and theater theme cake for a Sweet Sixteen party on Roosevelt Island NY. Inside were tiers of red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and lemon coconut cake with passion fruit cream filling. I sculpted a flamenco dancer fondant figurine of the birthday girl, which matches her photo on a copy of Playbill! Additional pictures of the star decorate the bottom tier, while red curtains adorn the stage.
Beautiful cake! The flamenco dancer on top of it is so cute! I wish someone would give me a cake as special as this one.
