Our bride wanted to surprise the groom at their wedding reception with a special cake that matched his passion for music. I created this Steinway Grand Piano cake, with a figurine of the groom sculpted from fondant sitting on a padded bench. Inside is pure white vanilla cake with dulce de leche cream filling.
Under the piano cover you can see the sound board and the strings, while below the piano the player has his feet on the damping pedals. I added a vertical stand with sheet music when the cake was delivered.
