Sports theme cake - for NY Mets, Rangers, Chelsea FC fans!

We made this Groom's cake for a sports addict, to appease his adoration of Chelsea FC, the Mets and NY Rangers. I stacked soccer ball, baseball and ice hockey puck cakes on top of a green fondant chocolate fudge cake with raspberry cream filling.

Ice shards made with isomalt stick out around the hockey puck. The figurine wearing his Adidas soccer shoes and his favorite number 11 Chelsea soccer jersey, with his initials and the Samsung logo on the front. We delivered the cake to a wedding rehearsal dinner at Arugula restaurant in South Orange NJ.

Camellia Wedding Cake with Cross Hatching

Our bride wanted a three tier white wedding cake with camellia sugar flowers, that have a light blue center. She chose apple pecan cake with dulce de leche cream filling on the bottom tier, and lemon coconut cake with key lime cream on the others.

White fondant covers the cake and then I piped a cross hatching pattern with royal icing, adding blue beading at each apex.

Dora the Explorer and Boots Jungle Waterfall Cake

For the birthday party of a Dora the Explorer fan we made this two tier specialty fondant cake to deliver to Somerset NJ. The bottom tier is red velvet, cream cheese and white chocolate filling, and the top tier has chocolate fudge cake with Oreo cookie cream.

A waterfall cascades down the cake, a large gum paste palm tree and jungle foliage provide the perfect backdrop for a sculpted Dora the Explorer figurine and her sidekick Boots. You can't see it in this view, but the backpack of course has a great big smile!

DJ Turntable Birthday Cake and Cookie Favors

Delighted to make a new cake this year for one of our South Orange customers for their party celebrating a 2nd birthday.

I designed a bright cake with blue and green fondant stripes, and inside a red velvet cake with white chocolate cream filling. The birthday kid is sitting on top of the cake in between two DJ turntables.

Also baked a batch of cookie favors tied with a green fabric bow to match the dance theme for his party.

A new twist on a classic three tier square white wedding cake. The white fondant is embossed with butterfly shapes, then an arrangement of Tiffany blue Casablanca lilies and turquoise sugar butterflies provide additional decoration. Inside are layers of red velvet cake and cream cheese filling, as well as vanilla cake with Madagascar vanilla bean filling. The cake was delivered to a wedding reception at Libretti's in Orange NJ.
