Winnie the Pooh Baby Shower Cake

Love it when one of our brides returns to order a cake for a Baby Shower, Christening or First Birthday.

We carved a Winnie the Pooh from lemon cake with Key Lime cream filling and tiers of vanilla cake with Oreo Cream filling. Vanilla buttercream piping decorates the cake, along with a green fondant hunny pot, dripping with honey and little fondant bees buzzing around our silly bear!

Delivered to a party in Chatham NJ.

Camellia Wedding Cake with Cross Hatching

Our bride wanted a three tier white wedding cake with camellia sugar flowers, that have a light blue center. She chose apple pecan cake with dulce de leche cream filling on the bottom tier, and lemon coconut cake with key lime cream on the others.

White fondant covers the cake and then I piped a cross hatching pattern with royal icing, adding blue beading at each apex.

Bugs and Bees Mini-cakes

It's Memorial Day weekend already, and the gardens in the Montrose Historic District are looking gorgeous, but now we have to cope with all the bugs!

However these little bugs and bees mini-cakes are just what kids love. This assortment includes the perennial favorite chocolate cake with oreo cream filling, as well as lemon cake with key lime filling for the young fruit fans. A happy looking fondant bug is settled on top of each one.

Now I need a good cup of Earl Grey tea before I get to work on the next cake order: a Louis Vuitton handbag!
