Chevy Avalanche Pickup Cake
I had fun making this cake replica of a black Chevy Avalanche pickup. Lots of detail and accessories to work on, and always thinking how to keep them to scale. The wheel hubs required special attention and the tire walls received an extra coat of food color spray paint. Inside is vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam. We made this for a surprise birthday party in Summit NJ.

Eiffel Tower Topsy Turvy Sweet Sixteen Cake
I love Paris and began my culinary studies there, so I was delighted when asked by a sweet sixteen birthday girl to design a cake incorporating a French theme, fashion and pink poodles!
We created her a three tier topsy turvy cake, topped with a golden Eiffel Tower. The bottom tier is chocolate fudge cake with dulce de leche buttercream filling, covered in a pink fondant and decorated with fondant buttons. The other tiers are vanilla cake with strawberry mousse filling. A purple bow is wrapped around the middle tier, while the top tier is purple fondant covered with green diamond shapes. A small pink handbag, shoe, a ring and a purple necklace also bring in the fashion theme.

True Religion Blue Jeans Cake
A fan of True Religion jeans wanted a pair for a birthday gift. I made a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate ganache, a perfect chocoholic combination. Blue fondant covers the cake and I applied distressing and a stone wash effect to the jeans cake, which was destined for a party in South Orange NJ.
The close up image gives you a better view of the stitching, the pockets, button and the rivets.

Burberry Handbag Cake
A Burberry Handbag Cake sculpted for a Bridal Shower at the Empire Club in Little Ferry NJ. The vanilla cake has layers of dulce de leche buttercream and is covered in fondant with the Burberry pattern.
The pattern was a labor of love, using my airbrush I had to spray the lines I carefully taped off and then wait 3-4 hours for the lines to dry before adding the next color to the pattern! The handbag is finished off with some personalized accessories: a cell phone, lip gloss, sunglasses and Mercedes key chain!
